Throughout my life, I have lived in four countries (in 2 continents) and worked with many people from different parts of the world which has given me a unique cultural perspective, so that I can better understand individual needs. These are valuable experiences that contributed to the success of my projects.

I’m a builder of large, collaborative cross-functional project teams going through the entire project life cycle & processes to deliver projects on time and within budget. I have a proven track record of utilizing my project management and exceptional communication skills set to lead changes in company’s business model that improved company’s revenue by 16% in the first year after implementation and building 40 retail showrooms across North America that contributed up to 8% sales growth YOY.  In addition, I also managed a virtual team working on innovative web development that enables shoppers to try on apparel online.

As I worked on these various projects, I realized that regardless of the size of the project, everything is centered around the people – stakeholders, project teams and external vendors. Therefore, building relationships and applying influencing techniques are two important skills set to ensure the success of a project. Project Management/Scrum Body of Knowledge is tremendously valuable to provide us with the road map and the focus for the entire project; however, we cannot discount the human aspect which is the essence of the project itself. For that, there is no guidebook and no easy way to acquire the soft skills except through experience.
